Landmark Agreement Covers Full Range of IWMS, IoT, and Energy Management Solutions
Antwerp – PropTech firm Spacewell has recently won a global software contract from one of the largest wind power companies in the world. Spacewell’s innovative, IoT-connected cloud software will be deployed to manage around 825,000 sqft and 7,000 end users in 15 countries will work with it.
Carlo Van Der Steen, SVP Direct Sales at Spacewell, said: “We are delighted with this deal that encompasses facilities, workplace, and energy management, offered as a SaaS solution. After competitive tendering with 2 other global software suppliers, Spacewell came out on top as the only vendor able to cover the full scope of requirements without involving any third party, which shows the breadth of our current offering.”
Independent research company Verdantix named Spacewell in 2022 a Leader in both IWMS and Smart Building solutions. Spacewell has been a pioneer in natively integrating both categories into a single cloud platform in which IoT and real-time data analytics make facility processes smarter and workflow-based software makes insights actionable and drives performance improvements. Spacewell’s acquisition in 2020 of Spanish Dexma and its AI-powered energy data management platform, extended the scope of its solutions to include energy intelligence. The company obtained a Verdantix top 3 capability score for energy management functionality in 2022 (Smart Building IoT Platform Benchmark: Energy Management Functionality, March 2022).
