Spacewell, partner of www.B2Building.help, the crisis platform that guarantees operational continuity of buildings and organizations during turbulent times

March 31, 2020 – Governments in all countries are taking strong measures to contain the Covid-19 coronavirus and to protect the health of their citizens. Some maintenance companies and suppliers have therefore been forced to close their doors temporarily, which could jeopardize the operational continuity of buildings or organizations.

www.B2Building.help

Therefore, Arcadis design & consultancy agency, software supplier Spacewell, innovation partner Made, and communication partner Social Seeder have together launched the online platform www.B2Building.help. The international platform is a digital reporting point for urgent interventions for companies with a critical mission, such as hospitals, rest homes, retail chains, distribution centres, inter-municipal companies, etc.

The reporting point is also permanently staffed and aims to be the link between these organizations and the maintenance companies and suppliers who can easily register on the platform.

Combined expertise

Arcadis, Spacewell, and Made previously worked together on facility management and consultancy for the maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. They felt there was a need to bring their expertise and connections together in these times of crisis. For the reporting portal and management of workflows, facility management software Axxerion Go!, the turnkey Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) from Spacewell, will be used.

Dirk Vanderlinden: “Both within Arcadis and in cooperation with our partners, we feel that solidarity towards other companies is very high. Using this platform, we hope to relieve critical organizations of potential issues that could compromise their operation, especially when we need them the most during this corona crisis.”

Eric Van Bael: “At Spacewell, we are happy to contribute our FM expertise and software to this platform. In these turbulent times, it will help organizations with a critical mission to ensure operational continuity.”
