Spacewell CEO, Eric Van Bael, commented on the recognition: “The Nemetschek Group’s recognition in this Market Guide is something we are very proud of. Our solutions continue to evolve to meet our clients’ needs – we feel that being named in this Market Guide is further recognition for our efforts to make our platform smarter, more effective, and easier to use. We believe this also underlines the strategic benefits of our expanded product portolio that now spans MCS, Axxerion, O-Prognose, the Cobundu Smart Building platform, and Advisory Services.”
Market direction: SaaS preference
According to the report, “an integrated workplace management system is a software platform used by IT, facilities management and real estate professionals to manage the end-to-end life cycle of corporate facilities. It helps optimize the use of workplace resources to provide an improved employee experience. It also assists in cost containment by monitoring the real estate portfolio, energy usage and capital projects.” The report further states that “the most common form of deployment for IWMS has shifted from on-premises to SaaS”.
