Challenge

Henry Heida, Project Manager in Sweco’s Real Estate department, provides some background:

“The Real Estate department consists of 3 teams: A Real Estate Management team and two Management & Maintenance Management teams. These teams are based in Groningen and De Bilt and serve customers throughout the Netherlands. Real Estate Management specializes in managing the portfolios of investors and owners’ associations. The Management & Maintenance Management teams mainly have clients in the government, education, healthcare, and industry sectors. We help our clients with the management and maintenance of their real estate. Depending on customer demand, we can support our clients in various ways. These include setting up a long-term maintenance plan, research, and advice on legislation and regulations, implementation support, drawing up / supervising (performance) contracts, policy, integrated research to determine the future value of the property and the organization of the entire management.”

“We use O-Prognose to carry out condition assessments according to the Dutch NEN 2767 standard, to draw up multi-year maintenance plans, to carry out BOEI inspections and to generate management reports, among other things. A major advantage is that the system is very flexible and can be easily adapted to our needs. Spacewell has developed a number of customized reports for us that generate sound management information for our customers.”
